Plymouth Music Zone
The initial installation was a multiroom live sound PA for rehearsal and performance, each room
was fitted with a custom made multicore system leading into the central sound recording room.
The main performance space was also treated with a new lighting system consisting of a pre-wired lighting bar
fitted with PAR cans and supplied with dimmer racks and lighting control.
On our most recent installation funding was granted for the development of the performance stage area.
NUB installed a 12m x 3.6m black stage curtain which can be deployed on bearing curtain track, an 8ft elcctric projector screen
and a 3000 ansi lumin LCD projector for all their media requirements.
Once the lighting rig was repositioned the new performance area looked fantastic, creating a fully funtional performance venue.
Longcause Special School
NUB supplied a high calibre of equipment. Speaker systems and amplifiers by Fohhn, lights by Martin, mixing desk
by Allen & Heath, microphones by Shure and stands by K&M.
The live desk also feeds via direct outputs to the PC based recording system also supplied by NUB.
An additional requirement was a custom made in-house audio and headphone multicore signal distribution system.
ITV Buildings London
Government new build
Working directly for the Mitie Engineering Group, Nub was able to supply a 100 volt line ceiling speaker system distributed over 4 floors of a new build for the Department of Works and Pensions.
University of Plymouth
We have been associated with the University of Plymouth Students’ Union for over 15 years.
During this period we have supplied and installed lighting and sound systems, satellite
and aerial distribution systems, data projectors and plasma screens.
We also have on going equipment rental for live sound applications with our sister company Nub Sound.
Plymouth Albion stadium
GETNUB have completed a prestigious project for Plymouth Albion Rugby Football Club.
Phase 1 consisted of supply and fitting of 8 EV ZX1i weather-proof full-range speakers into the West stand positioned on the end of the stadium facing in to the seated area.
Also on phase 1 the supply and fitting of a further 4 ZX1i speakers onto the newly completed East stand. All amplification is by QSC, zone control is by Cloud.
Phase 2 has been compliated with the fit-out of the sound control cabin. Cloud Z8 zone mixer was supplied with a dual CD mixer for playback and a sennheiser G2 series handheld radio system for annoucments.
A further 4 EV weatherproof speakers are being supplied to cover the North and South terrace areas.
The East stand bar has had a new satalite system with 2 42 inch plasma screens and a new distributed sound system which is interfaced into the main stadium system for match day playback and announcements.
Structured flood cat5 cable systems as well as a new CCTV camerea and harddrive system completed the instalation.
